Why Do Something Later When You Can Do IT NOW?

Why putting something off until tomorrow is a good option

It's easy and effortless.

It allows you to think about it

Possible scenarios are too involved/painful/messy/exhausting/

You worry about finishing what you started

There is really no time

There are things to do before you begin

You're too tired/unmotivated

Overcoming procrastination

Have a good reason for doing it now. Example: Brushing your teeth should happen regularly to avoid bad breath and bad taste in your mouth and cavities

Envision the results if you do it now. It will be one less chore to do later, there will be less clutter, and everything will be cleaner. Or you will lose weight and feel good and look good

At least do some of it now. Bit by bit, the job will get done or the bill payment will be in the mail or the application will be completed. Things like that

Finish what you started now. As a procrastinator myself, I know how tempting it can be to put off doing something for later. The problem is that later never comes,

Turn it into a habit or routine. Clean the bathroom everyday or hang clothes up instead of randomly throwing them in the closet every day. When you do all of that is up to you. For best results, choose a time that you will do something and do it every day at the same time. Avoid skipping a day or time. You will begin to feel uncomfortable for failing to keep your appointment.

Consider changing your diet Do it gradually this week. Opt for eggs in the morming instead of nagels or pastries. Eating more whole foods like fruits and vegetables will help you to feel motivated to just do chores now rather than later. Avoid sugary foods like donuts and cakes. Wean yourself of them by not buying them or bringing them home, If you do bring them home, you will think about them all of the time and finally be tempted to eat them. IAs I ate more whole foods and fewer sugary or salty foods like chips and cookies, I felt motivated to clean clutter and take care of chores like sweeping and dusting.

Takje an occasional break/ Sit back and relax after doing that grueling yard work, for example. But remember to get that work done first before rewarding yourself with a brief rest.

I know, this all sounds easier said than done. But I promise you that you have more time for hobbies and recreation once your procratination is under control. I have done all of the above and feel much better, I am now proud to say that I am a former procrastinator, at least for the most part,

I am a former procrastinator and will be happy to discuss related issues and helping you to overcome your procrastination

How You Make - Up Your MIND, Matters!

It's a matter of mind, over matter. If, you don't have a mind, it doesn't matter! Several individuals, have been credited, with, this statement, and, it has, usually, been used, in a comedic way! However, the reality is, how we use, and make - up, our MIND, often, makes a significant difference, in, our potential, success, happiness, fulfillment, and peace - of - mind! You can think you can, or can't. Either way, you'll be right! Henry Ford is generally, credited, with, this concept/ idea, and, although, a simple concept, we rarely, thoroughly, take advantage of it, in trying to become, the best, you can be! With, that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means, and represents, and why it matter.

1. Motivate/ motivating; make mark; mental image; motives; maturity: Don't we, usually, benefit, when/ if, we achieve, a higher degree of maturity, and a willingness, to objectively, consider, our personal strengths, and weaknesses, using, every area of strength, while addressing, every weakness, proactively? What is your mental image, and personal motives/ motivations, and how do they serve, your best interests? Be objective, enough, to give yourself, a check - up, from the neck - up, in an introspective, objective way! What might make you feel, you have made your mark, in a personally, satisfying manner?

2. Insights; integrity; imagination; innovate; ideas; ideals: Unless, you commit to proceed, with absolute integrity, how can you be, certain, your insights, and ideas, have any value? It takes a well - developed, aptitude, and skill - set, combined, with a relevant imagination, to have the ability, to know, when you need to innovate, as opposed to, applying, time - tested, expertise, etc! You need ideals, which give you personal pride, and a feeling, of greater, self - worth!

3. Needs; nerve: Identify your personal needs, goals, and priorities, and commit to proceeding with the nerve, to proactively, proceed, forward, rather than, merely, remaining within the restrictions of your self - imposed, comfort zone!

4. Delve deeply; discover; deliver: Instead, of seeking, simplistic solutions, proceed, consistently, to delve deeply, in order to discover, what might be needed, necessary, and enhance your self - esteem! Only, then, will you have a chance/ opportunity, etc, to deliver, the personal results, which are best, for you, in a relevant, and sustainable manner!

How you make - up, your MIND, often, determines, your health, happiness, and personal satisfaction, etc! Will you commit to this process, and more, in order to become the best, you can be?

Imagination Is The Engine That Drives Life

Thinking outside the box is the most powerful thing in the world. But, how many people get out of their self-imposed walls in life? Not too many, and with the billions all over the place, too few get out of that box. For anyone willing to read or listen, I am ready to spill those beans on how to knock down those walls and be imaginative. So, here is a little advice to start off with: Stop caring what others think and start thinking genuinely for yourself.

Now, I did not say do not take advice if it is not good, but to get out of "the box", you must be genuinely selective, realistically creative, and honest with yourself to the core. The best lives follow a self-made pattern anyway, right down to trusting intuition mostly over the advice of others "who know better" and being genuinely selective about taking any advice. Indeed creative and synthetic imagination (in that order) is the driver of life. Creative imagination because there is a better way to do things than the established way waiting within reality waiting to be discovered, and synthetic imagination in that more can be done with what already exists when we look a little beyond it in productive and creative ways.

When I think of creativity and imagination, the first thing I think of is the word "different", not the word "better". Because, "better" is a value judgement that says hey this is better than this and there is not any better way to do it, that is it, this is where it ends. The word "different" can open up possibilities instead of ending them with value judgements. "This is better than that" makes false assumptions about reality, "we can do this differently" opens up more possibilities really. Different is the open road that leads to new and better places, better is a dead end. So, that is where creativity really starts, with that distinction. Creativity in those senses is the ultimate "gray area" in realistic thinking, better makes "black and white" absolute value judgements like "this is better than that", when it stifles creativity or betterment, that is unrealistic thinking and action, really.

So, start thinking about reality in different ways, not so much better ways, because it is through that difference that reality genuinely improves. For example, I remember when my Dad used to take his own car engine apart twice and putting it back together before starting it after he fixed it to see how he could improve its functioning with his knowledge of how to fix a car, and he actually succeeded at getting it to run better, that is an example of productively different thinking. Buying a "better" new car is not always the answer, is it? Sure, this end example is a basic example of how creativity works in reality. But, it shows what I mean by creativity is "different", never "better". New ways of looking at reality are the differences that makes things better anyway.

Goal Setting: 5 Key Steps!

How can anyone, proceed, in a manner, which best, addresses their personal needs, priorities, goals, perceptions, etc, unless/ until, they prioritize, and learn, to effectively, use the processes, involved, in, meaningful, goal setting? When was the last time, you took the time, and/ or, made a concerted effort, to give yourself, a thorough, realistic, check - up, from the neck - up, so you might, better, understand, what makes you tick, and what you, really, want, out - of - life? Many people claim, they have personal goals, but, far - fewer, really, realistically, go through, the needed and necessary processes, to conduct, a thorough, review, and create your personal goals, and aspirations! With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, 5 key steps, in personal, goal setting.

1. Check - up, from the neck - up: Giving yourself, a check - up, from the neck - up, must be more than some form, of empty rhetoric, or clever phrase! However, it requires, a genuine commitment to the process, significant discipline, and a true desire, to know, and better understand, what you seek, want, prefer, and prioritize, your goals and aspirations, and personal set of reasons!

2. Personal strengths and weaknesses: Are you ready, willing, and able, to be honest, with yourself, and objectively, identify, both, your personal strengths, as well as weaknesses? This is important, so you might, better take advantage of every strength, while, creating a personal strategy, to handle areas of weakness, and minimizing the impacts, etc! Doesn't it make sense, this is an essential component, of meaningful, personal goal setting?

3. Your priorities (and why?): Why do you consider, certain things, to be your personal priorities? Are they really, important, to you, personally, or, are you claiming them, because, most other people, do? Remember, as in many other things, there is no such thing, as, one - size - fits - all, when it comes, to personal priorities, and true happiness/ contentment, etc.

4. How important are your goals?: What do you wish, to accomplish/ achieve, as a result of your personal goals, and aspirations? How have you set, these, particular ones, and why? Seek to customize every goal, and do so, with, as much detail, as possible!

5. Are you ready, and willing, to persist, and commit?: There are, often, several obstacles, and, whether, you transform these, to challenges, or perceive them, as problems, often, determines, how, you handle them! If you hope to use your goals, effectively, and meaningfully, you must be, ready, willing, and able, to consistently, persist, and commit, to making yourself, the best, you can be!

Using goal setting, is an important component, in maximizing your personal developing, and using, self - help! Are you, up to the task?

Power of Positive Attitude

The reason behind my ignorance was nothing but the negative mind and thoughts that were always revolving around my head, that I cannot do anything, I am not able to do it, etc. And that's why I scored very fewer marks in my examination and when I realised that my friend got more marks than me then that was the time I felt insulted and after 4 years I came to know that all my friends were settled, and got a job in the best company and till then I was doing nothing. All these were because of my negative thoughts.

Whatever I am today all of because of my positive attitude and thinking. Till now I am constantly struggling to be positive in every phase of my life period but it's not always easy. Sometimes a situation comes when everything is negative around me and I think that it is the testing time for me and anyhow I've to pass in it. However, I manage myself to stay positive in my tough situation.

Sometimes my wallet is running out as I march forward on my entrepreneurial ventures period and as I am growing day by day, I am finding myself in a different direction. I know that I'm learning new things that I've never learned before.

My life and all of our life is fulfilled with so many hurdles and challenges that it makes us more difficult to stay positive always. Whatever I am today, it is the result of being positive always. I know that staying positive has helped me to become what I always wanted to be always. Remember that, when things are difficult, stay positive always and strive to make the best of whatever situation you are going through because staying positive makes most of the challenging situation easy to be bear.

And now more often, I find myself in a positive attitude always (now I regret not being positive in my early days of life.) Today I am a positive person because I have trained myself to be positive. And now I came to know about the power of positive energy and a positive attitude.

Being positive is always a choice: Never think about what might go wrong, always think about what could go right. Being negative in the tough time is never a good choice. Negativity neither leads to happiness nor solution. So turn your face towards the positivity and you will see negativity will always be behind you. Just like, turn your face towards the sun and the shadow will fall behind you!!!.

Reinforce positive thinking and behavior: Reinforcing your positive thinking and your behavior will automatically be reinforced remember positive thinking is directly proportional to positive behavior and vice versa.

Share happiness with others: Only you don't need to be positive with yourself, other also wants to be positive. We all know that sharing is caring, share positivity with other and tell that you care!!! By sharing happiness and some beautiful moments of your life with others will help you to create a positive environment around you and you will always be surrounded by a positive environment and positive people. Always be nice to other people no matter what. Whenever someone is feeling down or devastated always be there to cheer him/her up.

Repetitive affirmation: Well, we all know what affirmation is and how powerful it is. Always use the tactics of politicians or advertiser just like they show their advertisement more and more times so that you can remember them for a long time or you can say always and you'll believe in them because the more and more time you hear a message the more likely you are to believe it. By repetitive affirmation, you are training your brain to believe them.

Challenge negative thoughts.
Find the optimistic viewpoint in a negative situation.
Cultivate and live in positive environment.
Go slow.
Never make a mountain out of a molehill
Meditation is also a best good choice as it helps us to stay calm and cool in a tough time and help us to have control over ourselves.
Exercise regularly, eat and sleep well.

I was training almost every single day to furnish myself, and I was just about to begin my first year of study at college. Since then, so much has changed in almost every aspect of my life.Just recently, I looked back at some of those major changes and on some of the life lessons that have helped me along the way-things I wish I'd been able to tell my 4-years-younger self... for further reading click on the given link... 4 Steps to Finding Joy

Many people tend to think of joy as coming from an outside source; someone or something makes us happy and joyful. Family can bring us joy, money can bring us joy, beauty and love can bring us joy. All those are external things that may, indeed, contribute to our overall sense of joy, but in reality joy comes from within. Nothing can bring us joy because it's already there inside of us, tucked away in some corner; waiting patiently to be discovered.

If you want to find joy, the quest then is to discover how to release the joy within. The first thing you will need to do is to define what joy means to you. Don't define joy in relation to things, but instead, in terms of feelings: Feelings such as adventure, safe, freedom, creative...whatever feelings that come to mind when you think of the word joy. Everyone will probably have different words, and that's O.K. Those feelings represent your core values. Those are the values you find most precious in life and would greatly miss if you couldn't experience them.

Once you discover what your core values are, you can begin to access them in many, many ways...not just doing, being or having something. For instance, if freedom and creativity were two of your highest level core values, you could look for ways to feel creative and unfettered. You can instantly access the feelings of freedom by remembering a time past when you felt most free. It's not the event that brings you joy, it's the residual feeling that stays with you.

So each day, instead of looking for ways to be joyous, begin looking for ways to feel creative and free. How can you be creative in a grocery store or while doing the laundry? How can you feel free when working toward a goal or fixing dinner? Finding joy means living up to your core values, and they are everywhere you look. Here's a simple guided writing activity to really narrow down what matters most to you...your highest core values.

Finding Joy in discovering your Core Values:

Step 1

Take out a sheet of paper, or start a new page in your journal. Without thinking too much about what you're going to write, let your thoughts float back to a time when you felt utter joy. Briefly describe the circumstances in paper. As you describe your event, focus on your feelings at the time and where you felt them in your body.

Step 2

Now take a moment to re-read what you have just written. Use a highlighter and mark the feeling words used in your description of the time you felt joy (happy, excited, satisfied, connected, etc.).

Step 3

The feeling words that you highlighted in step 2 are a part of your Core Values; especially when it comes to releasing joy. Choose the two feeling words that jump out at you - remember, don't think too much about them, trust the process and you'll know the right words to choose.

Step 4

With your feeling words in hand, journal for the remainder of the week on other ways you can access these feelings. In other words what are you currently doing that brings you joy, and what can you begin to do that will release your wild and joyous self?

Who Has Time for Meditation?

Most people are aware of the benefits of meditation. There has been a lot of research and there are studies that show what it can do for you. for example, neuroscientists have found that when people meditate "they shift their brain activity to different areas of the cortex - brain waves in the stress-prone right frontal cortex move to the calmer left frontal cortex," which means they become calmer and happier than before meditation.

Meditation helps you relax, reduce stress, handle everyday life more effectively and it even helps with health problems. Many successful business owners even recognize the benefits of meditation as it helps them become clearer, more focused and more successful in their businesses. Yet many people don't meditate or say they can't do it.

One of the most common reasons is time. Another reason tends to be that people have so much going on in their lives and their minds that they have a hard time sitting still for any length of time.

There are several misconceptions about meditation, and once you understand them, it might make the act of meditating easier than you think:

Time - many people think that if you're going to meditate you have to do it for at least an hour at a time and they just don't feel they have that kind of time. Meditation does not have to be for long periods of time like that. You can benefit from even 5 or 10 minutes of meditation each day. The most important thing is that you do it and do it regularly, not how long you do it for each time.

You have to be good at it - meditation is not something that you have to get good at. It is not a skill to be mastered in that you don't have to do it a certain way. The  harder you try to become good at it, the harder it will be to do.

Thinking - many people say they can't meditate because they can't stop thinking. If you try to stop thinking you never will. It's the same as if I told you NOT to think of pink elephants. The thing that would immediately pop into your mind would be pink elephants. If you tell yourself that you have to sit still and not think for 10 minutes, of course your mind will immediately move into thought. Yes, the goal is to be able to empty your mind and be still. But that doesn't mean that thoughts won't come into your mind. As they do come in, you simply notice them and let them pass, then move back to stillness - until the next thought comes in. Notice it and let it go and move back to stillness.

When you first start to do this it will seem difficult. But over time, the periods of stillness will increase and you'll find that the thinking will become less. But that won't happen if you try to stop the thinking.

Ritual - many people think that meditation has to be a big ritual. I had a student once who became very upset when I asked the class to sit and meditate on something for about 5 minutes. She assured me that meditation could only be accomplished by carrying out certain rituals, lighting candles, etc., and it had to be for a minimum of one hour. If you make your meditation practice rigid in this way, it will become harder to do and harder to find the time to do it. It then becomes about the practice itself, rather than what you want to accomplish from meditation, which is stillness.

Sitting still - another misconception is that you have to sit still to meditate. You can actually do a walking meditation or weave meditation into almost anything that you do throughout the day. What that means is that you simply do the action with complete awareness. You focus entirely on the activity that you're doing and be completely present - being aware of your breathing as you do it, how your body feels, etc.

There are many ways to meditate - you can focus on your breath as you breathe in and out; you can count as you breathe in and out; you can focus on specific areas of your body; you can focus on specific words or mantras; you can focus on an object, such as a flower or a candle flame; you can meditate to soft music or practice a guided meditation. However you do it, the important thing is to just do it.

But don't make it something you HAVE to do. Make it something you want to do. I think you'll find that as you make time for meditation in your daily routine it will become something that you won't want to miss. It will become something you look forward to, rather than something you feel you SHOULD be doing. Start today and you will soon experience the benefits. But take it slowly. Don't make it something you have to get good at. Pick a method that sounds good to you and do it, but don't push it. Relax into it and you'll enjoy it so much more.

7 Reasons To Discover Your Life Purpose - It's Never Too Late

Following your life purpose has so many advantages it's incredible that so many people don't discover theirs. You may think that you don't have a purpose, but I disagree. I believe everyone on this planet has a purpose to fulfil  It may not be something grand like being the leader of a country or finding a cure for a disease that is plaguing humanity. But, you do have a purpose, and it is one that you are uniquely qualified to carry out.

Here are 7 Reasons why following your purpose is so important

You will be happier - Understanding your purpose and living it will cause you be in alignment with who you are as a person. When you are not in alignment, you feel disconnected and frustrated. When you are in alignment, you feel a sense of connectedness and joy. Living your purpose will give you more happiness because you feel fully you.

You will be fulfilled - In the same way that living your purpose will make you happier, it will make you more fulfilled. This happens because by living your purpose you are completely connected with who you are as a person; body, mind, and spirit. You are also connected to something greater than you. And, this connection will have you feeling more you. Because of this, you will be more fulfilled.

You will be more connected - As mentioned in the first two reasons, living your purpose will have you feeling more connected. You'll feel more connected to yourself because you'll be in alignment body, mind and spirit. You'll also feel more connected to everything around you because you can not live your purpose internally. It is something that must be expressed outside of yourself.

Your life will flow - When you live your purpose, things happen easier. Your life will feel like you're floating down the center of a river, easily pushed along by the current. When you aren't living your purpose, you feel like you are swimming against the current. When you are on purpose, things happen spontaneously without seeming effort.

You'll have more focus - Purpose gives you direction. Have you ever tried to plan a trip without having a destination in mind? If you've done this, any direction would be fine. Your purpose gives you a direction in which to work towards. Having the direction gives you the focus on where to go. The purpose will allow you to understand what you need to focus on to achieve your goal.

You be more passionate - The reason you'll be more passionate about your life when living your purpose is the result of all the reasons mentioned above. Because you'll be happier, more fulfilled, more connected, living in the flow of life, more focus, you'll be more passionate about your life and what you're doing.

You'll have more integrity - By living your purpose, you'll be more connected with who you are as a person. You'll be connected body, mind, and spirit. This will cause you to live in greater integrity to yourself, which in terms will also affect your integrity to others.

Bonus Tip - You'll have more fun - Plain and simple, living your purpose will have you have more fun in life. You'll enjoy what you are doing and feel connected to others. All of this will cause you to enjoy life more and that will allow you to have more fun.
